What can you build with hundreds and hundreds of KEVA planks?  Anything you want. Future architects, engineers and artists will create works of art, unique buildings and cleverly designed contraptions with wood planks.  This all day come-and-go event is for pre-school and elementary age children.  This hands-on interactive exhibit will be at the library on Thursday, June 1.  Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This program is provided by the Oklahoma WONDERtorium as part of the Beyond Museum Walls.

Reception at the library

The Cushing Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution hosted a reception Tuesday, January 31 from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Yale Library.

Over fifty people stopped by the library to view the Bill of Rights kiosk and to meet our new legislators – Senator Tom Dugger and Representative Greg Babinec.

It was an enjoyable time for everyone.
