Friends of the Library (FYPLA)
About the Friends
Friends of the Yale Public Library Assn. (FYPLA) was established May 1986 as a voluntary, non-profit 501(c)3 organization whose purpose is to support the library through public awareness, fund-raising and hands-on involvement.
Activities
FYPLA sponsors special programs, helps fund summer reading, and purchases special needs for the library with monies raised from donations and fundraisers such as quarterly BINGO nights and raffles. FYPLA members can volunteer their time and talents in various ways.
Dues
Individual $5.00 Family $10.00 Best Friend $20.00 and above All donations are tax deductible and are payable to: Friends of the Yale Public Library Assn. (FYPLA).
Meetings
Meetings are held at 11:00 am at the Yale Public Library unless otherwise noted. Meetings for the remainder of 2023 are as follows: Tuesday, April 25, Tuesday, July 25 and Tuesday, Nov. 28.
